These cities include the Otaq Sar, Mashhad Sara, Bala Marzbal and Chubast to the North, Abhu al Hasan Kala to the West, Kard Mahalleh and Mazdakati to the East, and Ahmad Kola, Kelgger Kola, Zarivaran, Gerd Rudbar and Kord Rudbar to the South.

The city of Surat can be easily accessed by road from these cities or by flights which land at the airports situated close to this city. Three of the important airports which bring in tourists to the city of Surat are Bishe Kola, Sari Dasht E Naz and Semnan. These airports are located at a convenient distance from Surat. A lot of different kinds of restaurants cater to the needs of the visiting tourists in this city.

Surat is also the name of one of the languages spoken by the people of the village town Koy Sanjaq. Koy Sanjaq Surat is the popular and modern Aramaic or Syrian language. Speakers call this language Surat in short. The speakers of Surat consist mainly of Chaldean Catholics originally settled in Sanandaj. The alphabet used in this language is the Madnhaya versin of the Syriac alphabet.
