History :
Bhavani Jems was founded by Mr. Manjibhai Dholakia and his associates. One can marvel at the fact that the man behind this grand
enterprise had started in life as an humble worker in the town of Bhavnagar in Gujratin the year 1965. Ten years later, he ventured into the
field of entrepreuneurship with an investment of 10 wheels.

Success Story :
Later in 1987, he opened his first factory at Bhavnagar followed by a sales office in Mumbai the next year.
The 'Wittox Intreganated Scaives technique' was first launched in India by Mr. Dholakia in his second factory at Ahmedabad. Two
more manufacturing units were launched at Lathi and Surat in 1993 and 1994 respectively. The following year, Laser technology was
installed and extended to 10 units by 1998. The 5th and 6th factories were set up at Bhavnagar and Lathi respectively in the year 2000
which was followed by opening two more at Bhavnagar and Ahmedabad in 2001. The next year, one more factory was launched at Lathi.
In 2005, three units were opened in Surat which totals the number of factories to twelve. The 10th factory at Surat has an area of 1,85,000
sq.ft.
"The Jewel", a 1750 sq.ft. office was opened in 2002 in Mumbai. In 2003, the company had launched "Instyle Jewellery", a
manufacturing unit at Mumbai.
Moreover, the company has made landmark progress by setting up several more factories in Surat, Ahmedabad and Lathi thus
employing more than 10,000 workers.

International Achievements :
Bhavani Jems ventured into the foray of International business in 1999 by opening an overseas office named "Super Diam B.V.B.A."
at Belgium. This was followed by the launch of "Star Diam L.L.C." in U.S.A. in 2001. The year 2009 saw the opening of an overeseas
office at HongKong, China. In the same year B2B online website was launched.

Awards and Credits :
* In 1996, Bhavani Jems was recognised as a Diamond Trading Company (DTC) sight holder and was declared by the government as
Export Trading House of India.
* The company won a cash prize worth US$52,686,836 as Export Award from Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council in 2002.
* Bhavani Jems was certified as an ISO 9001-2000 Company in 2003 thus gaining an 'ISI' mark.
* It was awarded two prestigious awards in 2004 viz. The Rashtra Nirman Ratan Award and The International Integracy & Growth
Society Award.
* It was honoured by Sarin technology for installing 108 Sarin machines in one factory in 2007.
* In 2010, Bhavani Jems got notified in the 'Limca Book of Records' for manufacturing world's smallest polished diamond weighing
0.0003 carat. It is known as 'Bhavani Mikro Diamond'. In the same year, Quazer II Sarin laser machine is being launched and it is first
of it's kind in the world.
